I've asked at the Halfway Inn, Winch Wen, Llansamlet. They said it was OK (they have a funeral at 12, should be fine by 8pm)

They have a car park and a fair amount of space inside, and it's reasonably easy to get to from the M4 (from off of Jn44).
They said power for laptops would be fine, I'll bring an extension block just in case. They don't have Wi-Fi but we can always tether.

If this suits everyone I'll pop in to confirm over the weekend.

I live near Llandeilo, so no thoughts on the pub but nearer to a M4 junction the better.

Agreed on the date and points to put on the Agenda (informal) always worth raising on this very useful email thread.

Hi all,

>From the few people that responded to the Doodle it seems that Monday 11 March at 20h00 might be a good evening for a meetup?

I read through http://hackspace.org.uk/view/Starting_a_Hackerspace and thought it will be a good idea if we just socialise/hack together instead of trying to plan how we'll build the hackerspace, as most of that can be organised/discussed on the mailing list instead.

We still need a venue for the meetup - does anybody know of a nice pub that will let us use their back room or won't mind laptops etc.?

Cheers,

Gerrit
