Dear Ceri et al,

Thanks for the link to the little robot.

My experience with "micromouse" is that
robots are always popular, but it must have
a purpose. For example, our mice are programmed
to carry out three tasks, obstacle avoiding, line
following, and "combat". You should have seen
the excitement at the final last week!

We use my favourite 8-bit micro, the HCS08
from Motorola/Freescale, however the very
capable MBED can do the job in its spare time!
