Monday 6th January 2014
7pm. Volcano, 229 High Street, Swansea.

In this workshop you will learn how to create a 3D model using OpenSCAD,
that can then be printed on a 3D printer. OpenSCAD is an open-source CAD
(Computer-Aided Design) application, where you specify what your design
should look like using a script, which is then compiled into a 3D model.
During the workshop you will design your own enclosure for a Raspberry
Pi. Our own Swansea Hackspace 3D printer (thanks to Alan Cox for the
donation!) will also be on display.

Prerequisites:
You'll need a laptop to participate in the workshop. OpenSCAD runs on
Windows XP or newer, Mac OS X 10.6 or newer, and most Linux
distributions (including Ubuntu Fedora and openSuse).
You can download OpenSCAD here: http://www.openscad.org/downloads.html
