A huge thanks to everyone that came to our first open night and made it
such a capacity bursting success. Lots of people came, lots of pizza was
consumed, and many interesting conversations were had.

It has been just 14 months since our first meeting in Sketty to gauge
the interest in having a space in the city, and we have finally done it
and moved into our very own space, a massive achievement I think, and a
massive thank you to all those that helped and supported us along the
way.

So now opens a new chapter, with our own space comes the opportunity to
hold more frequent and varied events and workshops, to broaden our
scope, and to build a collection of tools and equipment that everyone
can share and benefit from.

This is YOUR space, this is YOUR community, and we need your help to
make this the coolest place to be. So please, if you feel you can
contribute in any way, be it things to share, tools to donate or loan,
or ideas you have of ways to improve, please share them with us.

You also don't have to wait for us to come up with new workshops and
meetings. If you have anything you would like to share with people,
something you want a group of people to collaborate on, something you
want to teach to others, or some topic you would like to give a talk on,
don't be afraid to suggest it, and we will help you setup a
workshop/tutorial/group session for it. Wether it is origami, sewing
electronics into garments, or some interesting piece of technology you
think others would like to have a look at, please share with us.
