[Swansea Hackspace] Arduino Starter kit

When I started out I bought this

not cheep - currently 62 quid...

There is a version without the Arduino

40 quid without the Arduino itself... Granted you can pick up most of what
is in this kit for pennies. the bit I really liked was the breadboard /
arduino holder - really neat.

here are the tutorials that come with the kit

and there are little breadboard guides (which you can cut out and pin onto
your breadboard if you manage to print them the correct size)

I found these little things handy to refer back to if my circuit didn't
work ;-)

printing the above out and getting a handful of bits from Maplin and you
have your kit.... the hook up wires from Maplin are bloody expensive though

Once you have mastered the basics you will want shields... these add
functionality like Ethernet to your project
