[Swansea Hackspace] Satallite hacking! oh and plants

there will be a program on the BBC World service in a few minutes
about plants, defences and
the fact that if they PLAY the sound of a chomping caterpillar to some 
plants... it triggers plant defences
and they change their biochemistry accordingly etc.

wow

they dont have ears!

I heard the program on BB$ radio 4 yesterday (I think)

also,

SATALLITE HACKING!

ISEE-3 comet chasing satallite.
from 1970s, abandoned in 1978
scientists are hacking back into an abandoned satallite and have managed 
to power it up etc and are trying to get it near the moon on the 10th of 
(some month.....) in order to regain control of it.
