In terms of finding UK and local suppliers to buy them:

> LM8UU linear bearings on M8 (8mm) smooth rod

I get my linear bearings and smooth rods from http://www.technobotsonline.com/ <http://www.technobotsonline.com/>
> pulleys and axel bearings are typically 608ZZ (8MM) or 623ZZ (3mm)
> roller bearings.

608ZZ bearings can be bought from a skateboard shop.

Other components:
- If you need shaft couplers, http://ooznest.co.uk/ <http://ooznest.co.uk/> has some.
- If you need threaded rod, B&Q may be able to help.
- For screws and nuts, don’t waste your time going to Screwfix - Swansea Fasteners and Engineering Supplies have M3 bolts and screws of all types:  http://www.swanseafasteners.co.uk/ <http://www.swanseafasteners.co.uk/>
