For the random coloured offcuts stuff the 
price per gram (1p istr) is written on the box,
weighing scales over by the cnc machine

choose your piece, weigh it, write it in the 'materials' log book, and
put the money in the cashbox as usual.

For other laser cuttable materials there is a box of stuff on the top
shelf of the members box area.  Each item has its price written on the
packaging. write in materials book also.
