Another thought ..
3 servo motors, Hundreds, tens, units.
connected to a drum, passably that roses box you just could not throw out,
with a vinyl cut label wrapped around the outside,
similar to a fruit machine tumblers

each disk one servo, but obviously you only have about 180 degrees of
motion ...
