I'll hopefully be along Wednesday to bug Liz for some help in turning a 2 man tent into a FPV racing gate, the zip is not needed so I could donate it to you.

No animals were harmed in the making of this email. However, several thousand electrons were severely inconvenienced.

Subject: [Swansea Hackspace] Mending a tent....

Hello!

I have set myself a little mission for the weekend/next week to repair the zip on my tent. By repair I mean replace, and by replace I mean stitch another zip on top of the old zip.

I think I'm going to need to machine stitch the new zip on (once I've found one), but don't have a machine to do this with. Does the hackspace have a sewing machine that could take on this task, and if so could someone very kindly show me how to use it in a way where I don't end up stitching myself to some material?

Thanks,

Matt Daubney
