[Swansea Hackspace] Disposing of Lithium-ion batteries in Swansea

They don't want it back. I told them it was damaged and they instantly gave me a refund and orders not to return it, hence my situation

Personally I'd take it to the tip and ask the guys there, they'll probably throw it in with the car batteries

I don't think it's a risk, but I'd rather have it out of my living space fast. I called the council, they were about as useful as nipples on a breastplate. Couldn't tell me where to dispose of them, but they were willing to book a collection to pick it up in two weeks time.
