Announcing a new regular workshop night

What: Microcontrollers Monthly
When: 3rd Wednesday of the Month
Time: 7pm - 9ish
Who: Open and Free to all

This will be a regular monthly evening focusing on microcontrollers and
basic electronics and how to use them. Each session will feature a
short tutorial or example that demonstrates how you can use Arduino and
related technologies to add interactivity to your projects. These
sessions will also be the ideal forum to bring your own projects and
questions along if you would like any advice or help.

First Session: Wed 21st March 7pm
Topic: What is this Arduino thing anyway?

To launch this new regular event we will start from the very basics with a gentle introduction to the Arduino platform.

What is an Arduino? Why should I use one? How do I get started?

No prior experience, skills or equipment required, and the talk is aimed at the non-technical.

If you want to bring a laptop or other parts along we will happily get
you started and you can have a go at some of the tutorials.

More advanced users may also use this evening to work on or get advice
on their own projects.
