I can be dropped off at the Hackspace with my stuff in the morning and we can go from there Matt? Alex if you have a torn down gun with 3D parts + some of your other cool gadgets (that camera you had on Monday for example) I think we could have quite a selection to show off. I can also print off parts for the printer we’re rebuilding.

Cool! If that means I'm just needed for transport that would make my life a bit easier 🙂

I can confirm I’m available for tomorrow. I can bring my 3D scanner + fabmin printer + random prints + Arduino/ESP projects. I can also take the mk2 clone that we got working at the Hackspace if there aren’t any objections.

I've been to that con a few times now, the gaming in the title is usually more tabletop than FPS. Not to say that a Halo pistol will be unrecognised, but you might have better luck with warhammer props.

Orange tip is American, and the only reason I was thinking it would be good to print is that it's a comic and GAMES convention, we don't have much else game oriented that I can think of

In situations like these, doesn't "brightly coloured" usually mean "the barrel has to be bright orange so the police don't shoot you" rather than "the prop's got some green camo on it"?

in any case, I also don't think that guns, guns and more guns are an adequate representation of what we do at the hackspace.

Also, I'm sorry that I won't be able to make it, I'm at the Makers Central thing in Birmingham this weekend. on a side note, I believe that a few Midlands hackspaces will have booths there, so is it cool if I promote myself to temporary ambassador for Swansea Hackspace while I'm there? maybe bring along a couple of those bookmarks we've got and give them a few?

Well it fits the brightly coloured and there's no real gun like it, and it was gunna be more of a desk thing to kinda get people over and looking at the table, it's a great demo of the finishing possible on a 3d printed part too

Not convinced it's the right kind of thing to be wielding while
representing the Hackspace but enjoy the conference if they let you in
with it ;)
