PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we NOT use Facebook for making decisions. This<br>
is one of the reasons why we need physical meetings . This is the second<br>
time, ( the first was the awful meeting venue) when someone has created<br>
a problematic fait acompli. These things are I accept done with the best<br>
of motives, but there are problems.<br>

A lof of very serious IT people are averse to using Facebook for good<br>

I think that in general Facebook should be avoided, (for all RMS' reasons;<br>
also not everyone has an account), but for stuff like an informal opinion<br>
poll it'll do in a pinch. Or, try a web search for eg. "easy poll".<br>
<br>
If a decision matters, we'll discuss it in person. If not... then it<br>
doesn't matter :)<br>
