Not sure about your specific problem,<br>

but a few days ago Iplayer running on <br>

Firefox on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS refused to<br>

play - didn't like my version of Flash.<br>

<br>

So I clicked on the green "A" and was<br>

told there were 495 MB of updates waiting.<br>

Clicked on "install" and seems to be OK now.<br>

Hope that is of some use.<br>
