[Swansea Hackspace] What do you want from a hackspace?

To stimulate some discussion, i will start by talking about my vision
for a hackspace, and the features i would like to see.


My wishes for a hack space is a place where i can go that i will have
the space to work on my little electronics projects, somewhere i can
leave my collection of tools, power supplies, programming devices,
components etc so that others can get use and benefit from them instead
of them gathering dust in a cupboard. Somewhere that i might get
occasional access to a 3D printer, something which i cant justify just
for myself. Somewhere i can meet up with other interested people to
socialise, discuss ideas, and help share my experience of things like
PIC microcontrollers, chainmail jewellery making, EL wire, and so on.


I would love to hear what other people would like to use such a space
for, and what kind of activities they might also like to see.
