[Swansea Hackspace] Using screens at the hackspace

I am considering coming to the workshop tomorrow ( Sat)
The only laptop that I am likely to be able to bring has a broken screen. It works fine with an external screen. There are a bunch of screens in the cupboard.
Do they work? Do they need cables? I presume Ill need to bring my own vga cable?
