Richard,

They look to me like the Amphenol series of 2.54mm single-row connectors.
Take a look here
<http://uk.farnell.com/amphenol-fci/65039-033lf/housing-1row-4way/dp/1211644>and
see if you agree.

If you agree, then the crimps for them can be found here
<http://uk.farnell.com/amphenol-fci/65039-035lf/housing-1row-2way/dp/1211646#ProductAccessories>
.

Regarding crimp tools, the 'proper' one is here
<http://uk.farnell.com/amphenol-fci/ht-0095/ratchet-crimp-tool/dp/1800346>but
sit down and put your cup-of-tea on the side before you take a look at the
price. Even if I was a billionaire, I would not pay that out of general
principal.

There is an alternative (affordable?) crimp tool which uses exchangeable
dies.  Here
<http://uk.farnell.com/fci/47750-000lf/crimp-socket-22-26awg/dp/1097978#ProductAccessories>
.

A cheap alternative is to very carefully solder the wires onto the crimps.
As long as you don't apply too much solder, so that the form of the crimp
and wire remains the same, and you fold the crimp tabs in properly with a
pair of pliers, the connection is as good as (better!) than with the tool.
