[Swansea Hackspace] How small can the laser cutter cut accurately?

I'm toying around with the idea of adding a tiny DC motor to a build (taken from the servo in the pick 'n' mix kit, actually), and have it spin a feature around with some gears. I'm curious about the idea of laser cutting some of those gears, but I'm not sure how small the laser cutter can actually go. so far, the smallest I've cut with it is a few 1mm diameter holes, which were spot on in terms of size. Does anyone know if it can cut details that are under 1mm in size?
