Thanks Jusin, it would have been set up last year, but the email they sent to confirm the delivery addresses got junked.

For the Hackspace community: FYI our next hackthecity event is:

https://www.meetup.com/HackTheCity-io-Swansea-Meetup/events/mfqzqpyxjbpb/ <https://www.meetup.com/HackTheCity-io-Swansea-Meetup/events/mfqzqpyxjbpb/>

Would be great to see people there if you can make it.

The last winner was this:

http://hackthecity.io/hackthecity-2-trash-talk-takes-the-title/ <http://hackthecity.io/hackthecity-2-trash-talk-takes-the-title/>

And the winning team are speaking with the council to possibly use the sensors to test out some refuse challenges locally.

The format is that you pay £2 to enter, we supply beer and drinks and people bring challenges and/or ideas. Then people stand up and pitch their idea/challenge, votes go into a hat for the best idea to win the door money. Last month’s pot was £30 and the winning team have to come back and say what they did with the money the following month.

The only limitation is that the idea/challenge must be solvable with technology.
