I need to make a bunch of connectors for 2.54mm pin headers (the type used on the pi and arduino). I have a die for my crimper which supposedly works for these but I've had pretty poor results with it so i was thinking of getting a new set, something like this one which includes the crimp tool and the connectors and housings-https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B078K9DT69/
Does anyone have any experience with these (Chinese?) crimpers, are they worth bothering with? The proper tool for these connectors is several times the price and more than i could justify spending.
