[Swansea Hackspace] Mending a tent....

Matt,

Don't know whether the space has a sewing machine, but I can give a little
bit of advice:

Find a decent YKK zip of similar materials/dimensions as the current one.
Don't even bother with other brands of zipper.

You will definitely want a machine for this project. Hand sewing zips is
possible, but one that long will be hard to do without error.
Further, make sure the machine you find has a "zipper foot." This is pretty
much essential unless you are a pro with a sewing machine.

If we do have a machine/you find one, I would be happy to show you how to
use it on a Monday/Wednesday crafternoon.
Cannot guarantee that you won't sew yourself to the material though.

All the best,
Joe
