Member Storage Policy

Swansea Hackspace offers project storage to members, as laid out on the Membership Page.

This policy describes how this storage can be used.

1. All member storage boxes and lockers are the property of Swansea Hackspace
2. Use of member storage by a person other than to whom it is assigned is forbidden.
3. The Directors reserve the right to open member storage without the consent of the member to whom it is assigned in instances where the member storage policy is not being followed or in an emergency situation.
4. Flammable materials, dangerous chemicals, explosives or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited
5. Perishable items (including food), illegal or controlled substances are also strictly prohibited
6. In the event that the person to whom member storage is assigned to no longer meets the requirements for that storage (such as a termination of membership), reasonable effort will be made to contact them and request that they vacate the member storage. At least one month's grace period will be given. In the event that the member storage is not vacated, forced entry may be made by the directors and the contents of the member storage may be disposed of.
