[Swansea Hackspace] IET lecture

Dear Hackers,

There will be a joint lecture of the IET West Wales and the
Swansea Amateur Radio Society at 7 pm on Thursday, 18th
January (refreshments from 6:30 pm). The venue will be the
Faraday Lecture Theatre, Faraday Building, Singleton Campus.

The subject of the lecture is Ground Penetrating Radar, which
is used extensively for non-invasive investigation of buildings
where conventional archaeological techniques are ruled out.

The speaker is Erica Carrick Utsi, who is well known in the field
of ground penetrating radar, and recently featured in a television
programme about Shakespeare's Tomb.

This lecture is organised jointly by the Institution of Engineering
Technologies and Swansea Amateur Radio Society. You will find
more details in the attached flyer. Registration is not essential.
